In 2024 after 12 years working alongside each other Mick Brunt and Sam Holmes joined forces to create Knotts Joinery.
Sam and Mick first started working together at a Mansfield based construction company over 20 years ago. It was there that they formed a strong bond and worked on a wide range of projects all over the country. Mick also managed multimillion pound contracts at this time.
In 2012 they both decided to make the jump into the world of self-employed working as MB Joinery and SJH Joinery. Each having their own clients but coming together for bigger projects. It was during this time that they became renowned for specialising in working on traditional roofs and trusses.
Sam and Mick's reputation for high quality and timely projects quickly spread around Nottinghamshire's builders and self-builders. Several regular clients meant it was time to bring on board some more skilled joiners who could be trusted to keep standards high.
Knotts Joinery are based in Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield Woodhouse but cover the surrounding areas including Mansfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, Derby and many more.
